Temporary Tattoo

As the name implies temporary tattoo are not permanent and one can remove them easily with the aid of soap and water or even oil based creams. One can employ temporary tattoo using water for transporting the design to the surface of the skin. In certain regions such as North Africa, Middle East and Asia, temporary tattoos are also referred to as Mehndi. Most of the temporary tattoos are novelty items which are created using a special kind of decal and a process known as screen printing is used for creation of image of tattoo on paper which is coated with a transfer film and this film enables an image to be slided off the backing paper and onto the skin when moisture is applied to it. After it gets dried the films holds the image on the skin through several washings.

In case of temporary tattoo decal tattoo is the least expensive and complicated of the lot, airbrush temporary tattoos are applied on the body using stencils and CO2 sprayer whereas henna tattoos offer a realistic look of the whole lot.
